SpaceNet AG is a large data center in Germany and one of the leading companies providing hosting services with secure and compliant data protection. On their own in-house ‘ZAMADAMA’ platform, they sell services such as mailboxes/email accounts, cloud space, and video conference tools.
What was the client’s business need?
In addition to the store itself, the client needed a system that would allow them to sell and configure their products directly to customers, allowing the business to scale.
Via consultation and collaboration, we created a custom online store for electronic services, where you can directly purchase the entire package of functionalities and instantly configure and modify specific services for clients that meet the customers’ individual needs.
What was the challenge?
The target group of the ZAMADAMA project was all users of SpaceNet network services. These are internal customers with complex needs and include all types of businesses from startups to mature who are responsible for the security and reliability of their network operations. Via our tried and tested consultation services, we provided a deep analysis and complete understanding of the client’s business and requirements. We then proposed a dedicated software solution that exactly met SpaceNet’s needs. The whole of the store and service configuration was integrated with the system providing network services (setting up an email box or putting data in the cloud).
How did we do it?
The customer places an order, and the system sends a request to SpaceNet. All the products are created on the network, and the customer can immediately log into the account. This solution is based on the worldwide known Zimbra tool.
ZAMADAMA has 3 order configuration mechanisms, which were created by SOFTIQ:
- Email boxes and email accounts creation and configuration
- Cloud storage space of variable sizes and capacities
- Online video conferencing too
To improve the efficiency and user-friendliness of SpaceNet services, clients can register their domains and link them to email accounts. It is also completely configurable with orders that can be modified at any time in the process
